From Seedlings to Harvesting!

Six weeks ago the first plot of the Community Garden was constructed in Tshezi village.  The gardens will be used to provide vegetables to chronically ill and elderly patients being cared for by the community care workers.

BEFORE:  The gardens utilize permaculture techniques to conserve water, reduce labor,  maximize vegetable output, and increase the number of harvests

AFTER:  6 weeks later the seedlings have matured into fully grown flourishing veggies!

12 plots and counting!

In time this Community Garden will be full of much needed vegetables for the vulnerable people of Tshezi village.  Great job TEBA workers!
