Summer Holiday at the Village Library January 7, 2013

Filed under: All projects,Education — Bulungula Incubator @ 12:38 pm

With just over a week left before schools reopen, the village children are enjoying the last days of their summer holiday.  Dozens flock to the beach to kick around soccer balls and then go splashing into the water for a nice cooling swim.  Others prefer to spend their afternoons in the cozy Jujurha Library playing with toys or reading books.  With the BI up and running again after it’s own short vacation, the library will be open to the community for stories and games to keep the children entertained.

What better way to spend a lovely summer afternoon in the village?

I had to smile when I read this post. I am sitting here looking at 10 cm deep snow and -18 C temperature! I’d love to be at Bulungula right now!!!
