BI advocacy for health

2ndHB VIII

As part of our work to improve access to healthcare services in our area, we have participated in the Section 27, Human Rights Commission and Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) led advocacy efforts.

The meeting to explain the purpose of the campaign to the community was held in BI Library on 13 March 2015. Community members were interviewed on the difficulties they experience with the lack of access to health services in the area, including never having had any emergency medical care like ambulance and paramedic services.
